I took the month of February off from blogging so I could take a few weeks to GET OVER MYSELF and to remind myself how much more fun life is when you are feeling ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. Haha, how obnoxious were my New Years Posts?! Blah blah blah, I need to work out, blah blah blah, I'm only 5'2" jesus blah blah blah.

So I am going to channel my inner Patsy and Eddy and embark on a new phase of 2010 . . . Being Ab Fab. That means if I feel like wearing zebra stripes and having 2 martini lunches, that is perfectly acceptable as long as my outfit is pressed and the cocktail comes with lunch (aka stuffed olives). Cheers!

On a separate note. . .

Today was DAY #1 in my new office!!! Super excited to get moved in. It is located above the Best Pizza in Pittsburgh, Pizza Sola.
I have 3 incredible interns, a handful of fun projects, a travel schedule to keep me focused and a Rolodex that has room to grow! I just adoooooooore meeting new people, especially young entrepreneurs like Jay Resio from mygov365 what a cool concept. Could it become the Google for Gov't/Politics. Only time will tell, but I am going to go out on a limb and say HELL YEAH!

Now if I could just line up a few dates (hint hint hint to all my matchmaking friends) I'd be off to a rocking start.

Random Rambling: Coffee alone is not nearly as enjoyable as with friends. Thankfully Espresso A Mano in Lawrenceville is well located so I saw a lot of familiar faces!

Had a brilliant start to the day. Met with Pittsburgh architects Tai + Lee to discuss my new office space in Lawrenceville. The developers are really amazing people, incredibly focused on finding young and creative minds to share the space. Can't wait for the project to begin!

Sorry, this is a short post today, but I highly suggest you take a little tour of LOLA (Lower Lawrenceville) and make sure to pop into Espresso A Mano. The Latte (see above) was delicious!

I'm a big music snob. Not in the "they sold out" kind of way, but I like music to serve ONE PURPOSE, motivation. (The Robert Longo print above is what I do in my living room with my ipod on full blast.) Music is a part of my life to lift my spirits and fill awkward silence when I'm working from my home office (which is changing soon soooooo excited!!!)

The problem is that because I am not on the streets finding new artists, I am left to my own devices and this tends to have a high turnover rate from "underground" to "mainstream" in a year or less. I'd like to think that is because I have good taste, but I digress it's probably because if an artist is in a publication like NYLON, SPIN or Details as "up and coming", there is a publicist and label pushing their popularity.

Costume Parties are Underrated

Random Rambling: Whoever thought waxing the CORK floor of my gym with an OIL based solvent is an IDIOT. Oil+Treadmill= Disaster

I'm not entirely sure what sparked my adoration for playing dressups, I'm sure it had a lot to do with my mother (she's a creative genius), Barbie dolls, a trunk full of old bridesmaids dresses and my favorite (Kindergarten) teacher "Miss Jeffrey" encouraging my imagination to run wild. Whatever it was, my sister and I spent countless hours planning fashion shows to debut at my mother's dinner parties and fighting over the only pair of white pumps in the Barbie dream closet. The end result? I ADORE costume parties and have never owned white pumps.

I thought it would be fun to chronicle a few of my favorite events over the past 3 years:

STUDIO 54 PARTY: For my 27th birthday I celebrated "Times 2" hence the STUDIO 54 (27 x 2) theme. A disco ball is a MUST, so if you are going to invest in anything, you have to get the biggest one money can buy. Followed by a great set list of disco-era classics, beautiful people, dark lights, a dessert/cocktail bar and disposable cameras (so everyone can have 15 minutes of fame on Facebook the next week). The invitations were hand delivered to every guest (god bless my interns) and the door girl knew not to deviate from the guest list (Andy Warhol would have been proud).
ROARING 20s PARTY: For my 29th birthday I wanted to celebrate my "Roaring 20s" in style. Guests were encouraged to wear costumes, but just in case, I had props (fans, pearls, mustaches, fedoras, bowling caps etc) at the door to help set the mood. Each guest was handed a punch cup, flower pot or tea cup to drink from for the night. Just before the birthday candy cakes (inspired by candy invented in the 1920s) were presented, I surprised my guests with a special performance by Kellee Maize. But she REALLY surprised the audience by performing 2 songs from my favorite musical Chicago!
RUNNING OF THE SANTAS: A holiday event to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand, was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season; however, I approached this costume event with caution. I've always been a little nostalgic around Christmas and feel dressing like the Playboy version of Mrs.Claus is in poor taste. So I donned a full Christmas Tree Costume complete with presents for shoes and in turn became the life of the party rather than the slut that saved Santa. Oh, and I won the costume contest!

I'm often asked what goes into planning a memorable event, and I have to say I think it starts with the hosts. If you are stressed, then your guests won't relax, so do as much planning in advance as possible and remember, if you forget something, your guests will never know. Other than that here are the 5 keys to a great event:

Unique Venue or Location
Pretty People (This is where costumes can help haha)
Great Music (Skip a radio playlist)
Open Bar
Plenty of Food (a minimum of 7 hors d'oeuvres per guest)

I'm back from being lazy and I resolve to get better about remembering to post a daily blog. Lord knows enough random and crazy things happen in my life, so WATCH OUT 2010 here I come!!!

For a few of my other "resolutions"

Create my own Twitter account so I can officially offend whoever I feel is deserving or support any business I feel needs a little boost (that's my arrogant way of saying I try to stay ahead of the trends)
Map out my projects for next year. I always say I'm going to do this and then June rolls around and I'm more motivated to go to the beach than create a holiday budget. . .and if this holiday season was any indication of my shopping habits, a budget is VERY NECESSARY come December 2010.
Get back into my SKINNY JEANS. Thankfully for Pittsburgh Personal Trainer, Terra Brozowski, this will become an actual reality!!! Oh, and I'm going to start every post like I did today. There's nothing like being judged by your peers.
THE MOST important resolution. Make more time for the people I love. We are all guilty of this, especially with things like Facebook and Twitter making us feel like we are connected when we are really just being creepy online stalkers.

Ok seriously, WTF is this??? It's a pregnant girl in a sexy negligee??? Soooo gross. Demi Moore on the cover of Vanity Fair is one thing, but this is B-Movie gone horrendously bad.

Who wants to keep up with the Kardashians when they sink to levels as low as feeding on people with pregnancy fetishes. ugh blech patooey

And to top it all off, the shoes on Khloe's feet are U-G-L-Y!

I'm not a chronic dieter and I'm not an avid fitness buff. I am however, a lover of all things skinny: J Brand Skinny jeans, leggings and hip hugging mini skirts so in order to pull off these wardrobe essentials, I have to stay fit. (Insert crying emoticon here)

Pittsburgh Personal Trainer

Finding a Personal Trainer in Pittsburgh is not the easiest mission. So I did a what most twenty-somethings locked to a desk do, I used Google to find an expert. To my dismay, many of the listed trainers are tied exclusively to gyms, won't travel to you or (GASP) only work with housewives (who else can workout at 10am daily???). So when I discovered Terra Brozowski I was beyond thrilled.

Terra agreed to meet with me to discuss my fitness needs and my lifestyle before we setup an actual session. What I was most excited to discover is that in addition to traditional gym routines, she also takes clients on Cycling Tours of Pittsburgh!

So here's my goal: Size 26 jeans sans muffin top. If Ricky Lake can do it, I should have no excuses right? Fingers are crossed. . .here goes nothing!

ROOT Cocktail Competition

Looking for the Best Cocktail in Pittsburgh?

After a day of running around trying to get my Thanksgiving dinner pulled together for 20 friends and family, I was asked to participate in a cocktail competition hosted by ROOT Liquor. Actually I should clarify this, I was the LAST resort bartender for The Firehouse Lounge and Embury to participate in the event because the rest of the staff had holiday commitments. . . but Spencer Warren's recipe for the ROOT Champerelle was so foolproof that I WON!!!

There have been a handful of cocktail competitions in Pittsburgh, but this was the first (in my humble opinion) that was organized in a thoughtful and cocktail driven manner. Thanks to ROOT for selecting judges who were actually cocktail enthusiasts rather than bar rats and scenesters (no offense to the latter).

The competition was tough. Summer from YoRita delivered a delightful drink made from reduced Malta soda, Vanilla Soy Milk, Sailor Jerry Rum and ROOT. Rob, the ultimate Big Burrito bartender presented a refreshing libation composed of ROOT, a homemade vanilla (and something else) syrup, vanilla vodka topped with soda and a BEAUTIFUL ginger mixing stick.

I thought it would have been Spencer Warren from Embury who really impressed the judges with his Sasparilla Fizz, a take on a traditional Ramos Gin Fizz. Which bartenders know is one of the most labor intensive (i.e. annoying) cocktails to make, so when he presented 3 perfect Fizz Cocktails to the judges, the room was pretty amazed.

But alas, in the end, it was the ROOT Champaerelle that swept the competition with it's refreshing hints of warm herbs, honey and lemon, reminiscent of a classic Benedictine cocktail.

Want to make the ROOT Champerelle at home?

1 oz ROOT Liquor
1 oz Yellow Chartreuse
1 oz Courvosier
1oz Orange Curacao
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup

Add all ingredients to a shaker. Top with ice and shake vigorously until cold. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Alcohol Kills Germs

In light of it being flu season (booooo), and Pittsburgh's Whiskey Festival (yaaaaay!), I posted a link yesterday on my Facebook page about an all natural shot of Nyquil from that I found on one of my favorite blogs www.urbanhonking.com. In response to this post, my good friend Reshma sent me this recipe for a Hot Toddy. Enjoy!

Alana, this reminds me of my invention for a hot toddy recipe (which could be good as an easy to make winter drink for those partygoers who are under the weather and not wanting to drink a regular full-alc dehydrating cocktail but too proud to admit it).

I invented this 5 years ago when I spent a 30 below 0 winter in Minneapolis during fellowship. I swear by this stuff when I am sick. Great for sore throat, cough, fever. Works better than anything I could prescribe myself and best of all no buzz!

Reshma's Hot Toddy

1 shot Remy Martin VSOP or other good cognac
Juice of 1/2 lime (not lemon!)
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1-2 tsp honey
5-6 mint leaves, torn
Boiling water

Muddle ginger, mint and lime juice at bottom of tall coffee cup. Add cognac and muddle some more, then honey. Fill to top with boiling water, stir, let steep a few min and enjoy.

Fashion Rocks

I am a HUGE fan of dressing up, especially for theme parties!!! I saw this tee today by Wildfox entitled "Math Sucks" and it immediately reminded me of my lovely disposition in 9th grade when I was trying to push EVERY limit to the max . . . especially with my taste in music (ahem Bad Religion, Bad Brains, and Liz Phair)

Gone are the days of digging in thrift stores for a perfect pair of vintage Levi jeans (though I'm sure they will be coming back in style any day now). Nowadays I have this little thing called "work" and in order for me to get from my desk to stage front, I have to get creative.

This Tibi skirt is PERFECT for day to night. The brocade finish when paired with opaque Wolford stockings, a pair of booties (sorry Doc Martins are not something I see myself rocking this time around) and a simple black cashmere sweater (to cover up the graphic tee) is conservative which is perfect for my daytime routine. But come 6 o'clock when I'm ready to let loose and embrace my inner Lady Gaga, the addition of a classic motorcycle jacket and of course a flask (why is there NEVER a bar near the stage???) and I'm ready to roll.

US Weekly BUZZ-O-METER

As you may have realized, I am a BIG fan of Give and Take tees. So when style watch publications like US Weekly validate my opinion about this brand, I get even more excited to spread the news. It's unfortunate that more celebrities aren't wearing these tees because it would be nice to see the softer side of some A-list actors and actresses. It's also unfortunate that it took Michael Jackson's untimely death to re-spark an interest in USA For Africa, but keep in mind, when you purchase one of these tees, a portion of the proceeds directly benefit that charity!

Rachel Ryan Front and Center

Rachel Ryan is one of our city's most celebrated makeup artists, and her work which appeared on the cover of enRoute magazine goes to show that even a sloppy Primanti's sandwich can't take the limelight away from Ryan's flawless work.

I have had the pleasure of working with her on numerous projects, and am constantly impressed with her level of professionalism no matter what I toss her way. My favorite project was a Sweet 16 Birthday party that had an America's Next Top Model theme. Rachel and a team of stylists traveled with me to the beautiful Bedford Springs resort for a weekend of fashion and frills. Her ability to transform the birthday girl from a sporty lacrosse player into a high fashion model was astounding.

We have been playing calendar tag over the past year to do a fun photo shoot with her equally talented beau Nichcolas, but her crazy schedule (combined with mine) leaves little room to make it actually happen. Haha oh well, at least my Facebook profile picture is a stunner! Which was only a test shot to make sure my foundation was even. I'm telling you, this woman is a miracle worker!

Tales of a Pittsburgh Cocktail

So this blog is perhaps one of the most random blogs out there. It is not filled with one topic, which is perhaps why my followers is so TERRIBLY low, but it is filled with my favorite things: Fashion, Food, Cocktails and FRIENDS. Today, an article about Embury (our newest cocktail bar) came out by writer Bill Toland, and it is amazing to see the media show appreciation for this as it was a project that truly grew out of passion. Blackberry Smash

3 slices lemon
3 blackberries
1 teaspoon sugar
Aromatic bitters
2 ounces Old Weller 107 Bourbon
2 sprigs mint

Muddle lemon and blackberries with sugar and a dash of bitters.

Put in shaker with bourbon, mint and ice. Shake and double-strain over ice in a large tumbler.

Garnish with a lemon peel, head of a sprig of mint and a blackberry.

Best Cocktail Mover and Shaker: Spencer Warren, owner of the Firehouse Lounge (2216 Penn Ave., Strip District), was one of the first mixologists on the scene in Pittsburgh. He also is one of the first to introduce organic cocktails to the region. Organic and local are both things that are very important to Warren, and as a result, he has had a lot of fun creating specialty drinks. While he relishes serving cocktails made from unique and fresh ingredients, he is quick to point out the limited availability of true organic spirits on the market. With that said, Warren delights in serving up organic selections such as a Prairie/40 North vodka cocktail and a sangria made from BD (biodynamic) wines. His ambitious drink menu, which changes seasonally, includes some interesting and mouth-watering favorites such as a Bluecoat Blossom, the Curious George or a Lime or Lavender Mojito. To celebrate the National Girls and Boys Club of America Week, Anna Kournikova spent a few days in NY and ended her week on the Rachel Ray show.

So anyhow on to the gossip, Anna Kournikova was on Rachel Ray yesterday promoting her affiliation with the Boys and Girls Club and to promote the "Get Animated" campaign, and guess what? I know I already spilled the beans, she was wearing another GIVE AND TAKE charity t-shirt!
This is the same one that Selena Gomez was seen wearing a few months ago.

Late night with Jimmy Fallon is off to a rocking start. Last week's special guest, Anna Kournikova, was spotted entering the studios wearing the Give and Take "Boys and Girls Club" Charity t-shirt. The blonde vixen, known more for her recent Maxim spreads and heart throb boytoys than her tennis record, beat Fallon in a Beer Pong challenge so thankfully she was in a micro mini dress rather than the positive messaged tee.

Rumors are circulating that she was also guest on Rachel Ray on Yesterdaay, perhaps she will be rocking a tee!!! Ok, fine I know she wore one. . .

When I first googled "Pittsburgh Fashion Designers" I was pretty shocked to discover that the results were REALLY limited. Sure, Pittsburgh and Fashion don't exactly go hand in hand, but one would be rather surprised to discover the amount of talent that has brewed from the City that Sits on 3 Rivers. So I thought I would compile a short list, over a few days, of some of the city's designers and stylemakers. (Please note not all designers are currently residing in the 412 area code and that parts of bios are not all original).

1. Justin Giunta, If you don't know the name I suggest you Google ASAP. He and his work are known among celebrities, art enthusiasts and savvy style mavens for his ability to combine fine art and commercial design in the creation of visual and thoughtful pieces. Although his pieces aren't cheap, he was the 2nd jewelry in a series of accessory designers commissioned by Target to create a limited-edition series. Missed the deal? Try Ebay, these items were hot hot hot. 2. David Mullen, The newest branch of basics brand Save Khaki, with its shop on the buzzing takes pleasure in providing the masses with nothing short of perfect super-soft shirting, and, of course, plenty of expertly tailored khakis for both men and women. The audience at the GQ/CFDA 2009 presentation of the Best New Menswear Designers in America was a who’s who of the most important people in American men’s fashion today, Mullen was among the six honorees!
I had the pleasure of attending a small party at one of the Save Khaki stores, and I must say, in addition to his amazing basics, Mullen can throw quite a block party. Well, I don't think it was supposed to be spilling onto the block, but the humidity was unbearable, and the chatter on the street was contagious. My lasting impression? The Margaritas managed to NEVER get watered down, now that's a sign of a pro!

3. Shea Mullen, I know what you are wondering "Is she related to David?" One answer: YES! But that is certainly not her claim to fame. I am still not 100% how one family can spin so much creative talent, but these two are living proof that it is possible. Allure Magazine with Julia Roberts and Munro Leaf

Just when I thought Shea Mullen, of Good Chemistry and Give and Take Tees, couldn't do it again, she did! Her new line of t-shirts cheekily named "Right and Wrong", feature graphics from one of my FAVORITE children's author series by Munro Leaf.

The newest collaboration of Give and Take tees will feature a series of boldly colored graphic tees and the whimsical designs (by illustrator Robert Lawson) and life lessons courtesy of Munro Leaf's mighty pen.

Hollywood legend, Julia Roberts, can be seen in this month's Allure magazine (see above) reading one of Leaf's books, "Reading Can Be Fun".

During her Allure shoot, Roberts's children, four-year-old twins Finn and Hazel and one-and-a-half-year-old Henry, visited the set. One of their books became a key prop here.

Other great books by Leaf which will also be featured by Give and Take Tees include some titles that even a few BIG KIDS I know should read. My personal favorite is How to Speak Politely and Why. But other great titles include Manners Can Be Fun, Let's Do Better, and The Boy Who Would Not Go To School.

I suppose one of the perks of what I do is the people I get to meet. While in Vegas a few months back for Project, I had the pleasure of running into old friend Monty Clay (feather weight champion) at the Pittsburgh airport. He was on his way to Vegas to meet with Travis Barker to sign a deal with his newly launched accessories line. We managed to connect, and had a really fun night of celebrity watching and catching up.

I have to say, hands down, the SCARIEST man I have come face to face with is Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) Rampage. Wow! He was E-N-O-R-M-O-U-S especially when next to me.

I forgot to post these a while ago, but I couldn't resist!

Maybe Monty will be a new face for Give and Take for the Boys and Girls Club????

Sooooooo, after the visit to repair my blackberry, I was ready to drive myself to the airport, but low and behold, I had only minutes to get there and not a minute to spare to park my car. So Spencer generously offered to drive me. Because I wait to do EVERYTHING until the last minute, I realized that I had not yet put the registration sticker onto my license plate, so I had to put all of my bags into Spencer's car, and we were off.

After rushing to the airport we arrived, and as I was blowing a kiss goodbye, I realized I had forgotten my purse!!! Did you know you can fly without an ID??? I had NO CLUE, but frankly it was more convenient that flying with one. I was shuffled through 2 first class lines, asked to open my bag, and then sent on my way. The whole time with smiles and a handshake.

Thank god I put $200 in my back pocket, or my landing at Laguardia would have proven rawther annoying. (I LOVE ELOISE)

Well, it was convenient until I realized I was in NYC WITHOUT A PURSE, CREDIT CARDS, ID, or LIP GLOSS!!!

Thankfully Spencer had already taken time to overnight me my purse. But don't think that meant the nightmare was over. . .

One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer?

Not these days. Why would you when you can opt for a Passion Fruit Sidecar, Ginger Cranberry Mojito, or a repurpsed Classic Cherry Coke? Thanks to Spencer Warren, Pittsburgh can breathe a sigh of relief this holiday season (or dare I say stock market plummet) when we all need to add a little pep in our step. After all 'tis the season.

I am thrilled to announce that I can FINALLY say, let's go somewhere OTHER THAN the Firehouse Lounge!!! Ok, well it's almost somewhere else. It is on the 1st floor at this Strip District location, but it is totally different, and very needed in the burgh.

The Pittsburgh Tribune Review PM edition featured Spencer and Embury last week before the Whiskey festival in a great article. Hope you have a minute to check it out:

What a whirlwind of a week. I don't even know where to begin. I left last Thursday for Newport, RI and NYC to celebrate a friend's engagement and my birthday, and what started as a rocky beginning left me with an hysterical story. It's kind of long, so I figured I would break it into "scenes" to give a break because boy oh boy was it a long couple of days. Ha!

Scene 1: The Catalyst Thursday, November 13. My Blackberry, which many of you know is my "baby" or as I have dubbed it, "my pet rock" is sadly the center of my world. As a publicist (aka Social Butterfly with a knack for overcommitment and a "mild" case of ADD) , leaving home without it is what I compare to a mother losing her child in a mall. Ok, perhaps not quite the comparison that some would expect, and most would roll their eyes about, but that's just how it is.

Anyhow, upon waking for a REALLY early conference call, I learned that my poor baby had developed a virus --Sniffle-- So like any caring and neurotic mother I SPRINTED to the repair center where after a little finagling I was able to jump to the front of the line hoping for a little TLC for my little one. While waiting for the results, I discovered, that I had been focusing on my flight ARRIVAL time rather than my departure time, and had minutes to leave for the airport or I would miss my flight. Talk about a nail biter.

Alas, I discovered that the little one was not repairable, but not as a result of poor parenting --Yippee-- and so I was given a shiny new replacement and was sent on my way to NYC. Or so I thought . . .

Steelers Style Fashion Show

Talk about home-field advantage. Nearly 900 fans roared their approval as their football faves blitzed the Hilton Hotel catwalk at Friday's eye-popping, jaw-dropping Steelers Style 08 fashion show. Fifty-four extreme hunks shared the spotlight with their ladies, kiddies and models in looks that went from team jerseys to black-tie. What moves! What rule books?

Lending their immeasurable fundraising clout, the Rooneys and Steeler Style have helped raise more than $3 million in seven years for the Starzl Transplantation Institute and Cancer Caring Center. Thanks to chairs Greta and Art Rooney II with Kiya (she created a Steelers gown for the show!) and Mike Tomlin calling the plays, it was the slickest, best-produced fashion bowl in its history.

Between quarters announced by KDKA's Bob Pompeani, videos reeled salutes from fans around the world and those closer to home, like Joy and Dr. Tom Starzl; Athena and Frank Sarris; fashion coordinator Alana Bly; Rebecca Whitlinger Kontul; Clyde Jones; Debi Wheeler; Jennifer and Dr. Wallis Marsh; Dorothy and Dr. Richard Raizman; Lisa and Dr. Fadi Lakkis; Massy and Alex Paull; Holly and Dr. Clark Gamblin; and Meg and Rob Eberly.

Read-A-Thon Spencer Tee Shirt

I received this question the other day, and so I thought I would post a response.

Q: How do you choose the names for GIVE AND TAKE tees?

A: Every shirt in the collection is named after a person in the designer, Shea Mullen's, life who has been affected in some way by the affiliated foundation.

This shirt on the left is one of my favorite designs from the GIVE AND TAKE for a few reasons. The most obvious is because I LOVE LOVE LOVE the shirts from this collection that are 3-tone color (see below for more examples), but most importantly it is because it was named after one of my FAVORITE people and BESTEST friend, Spencer.

Unlike many of the other tees in this line, the "Spencer" is named for a man who GAVE BACK to Multiple Sclerosis, which is how he was affected. When he was 7 years old he was in a Read-a-Thon at school where he was the highest fundraiser in the history of the school and he won a bike. Without a dime from his family, he solicited his neighbors and came out a well-read winner. His highest donation came from a neighbor who pledged $20, not realizing it was for EVERY book he read! Sometimes it is the people who GIVE BACK who are most greatly impacted but who can make the biggest difference.

This tee was a popular style at the MTV Video Award with Victoria's Secret Model Alessandra Ambrosio who is the National Ambassador for Multiple Sclerosis Society. (Inside Scoop) She liked it sooooo much that she actually left with the sample! That's ok because she understands the importance of GIVING BACK.

Two of Pittsburgh's biggest annual fashion events are this week.

On Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers and their families will take to a runway at the Hilton, Downtown, to benefit the Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute and the Cancer Caring Center. The theme of this year's Steelers Style fashion show and dinner is "Steelers Pride Worldwide."

Honorary co-captains are James Farrior and Jeff Reed. Chairing the event are Steelers chairman Art Rooney II and his wife, Greta, and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and his wife, Kiya.

A Steelers-inspired gown designed and worn by Mrs. Tomlin at last year's show will be auctioned. Shea Mullen of Give and Take will unveil T-shirts she designed to celebrate both charities, and fashions in the show will be from Nordstrom, hiptique, Reebok and Tuxedo Junction.

Give and Take ONE SHEET

GIVE AND TAKE (G&T) is a line of graphic tees and sweatshirts where a portion of the proceeds are directly contributed to a partnered foundation. The shirts are vintage replicas of charity event tees, similar to what you would find in a thrift store. Selena Gomez Gives Back

While Fashion Week has come to and end, and Coterie has only a few hours before closing its doors, I thought I should keep this fashion friendly and post another celebrity spotting in a GIVE AND TAKE TEE! What could easily become the hottest item for holiday 2008, the GIVE AND TAKE tees, are a huge hit with not only Hollywood heartthrobs but the tweeners as well.

This time it was Selena Gomez, who according to E!Online and Celebrity-Gossip.net The sweet-as-pie tween queen leaves L.A.'s Du-Par's diner and pie emporium before heading over to the local GNC.
